Homeopathy Meets Allopathy

Homeopathy meets Allopathy. There’s a common ground between the two.

Imagine a scenario. You’ve been taking allopathy and heard from someone that homeopathy really helps in treating your condition (again imaginary) because that friend has tried the same and it worked. It’s not such a distant scenario BTW.

Now the predicament is, do you switch completely to homeopathy by dropping allopathy? No, you needn’t. Homeopathy, besides being gentle is also tolerant. With no side effects, homeopathy won’t get in the way of your allopathy treatment. In fact, in some cases, the two lines of treatment are found to be complementary. Let’s see how. Allopathy acts directly on the organ or on the disease whereas homeopathy is more holistic in its approach. It corrects imbalances in your system and stimulates the inherent power of the body to heal itself. This means homeopathy heals while allopathy cures. Since their very approach is different, they don’t get in the way of each other. The difference becomes evident in the way an allopathy specialist would start the investigation vis a viz a homeopath. While the former would most likely, after identifying the problem, will prescribe medicines to attack the problem itself the latter on the other hand would try to gauze what triggers the problem and would then go on to solving the problem from there, that is the root cause which can, more often than not, lie somewhere else. The bottom line is, yes, the two lines of treatment can go hand-in-hand. But don’t take matters into your own hands. Consult a doctor and listen to what she has to say.
